Summary

We have seen that designing a map involves working with a variety of components ranging from scale to the lettering- and colour choice. Also, during your cartographic designing time be always aware of the fact that you are not designing maps for yourself. Try as much as possible to follow the rules given in this lesson, even if they seem to be sometimes odd or too time consuming;
especially those rules are important for creating ‘good maps’.
